A gall bladder removal surgery, also known as a cholecystectomy, is quite a commonly performed surgery which is carried out when people experience pain due to stones in their gallbladder. There is no medical treatment for gallbladder stones, these have to removed by surgery.
Traditionally, a gall bladder surgery is done with four cuts on the patient’s abdomen at most hospitals.
A hernia occurs due to a weakness in the muscles of the abdomen or pelvis. Usually, people feel a bulge under their skin or a dull ache in the abdominal area for a while, just as Rohit Gupta did when he was diagnosed with a hernia.
“I’d been feeling this bulge for a while” Rohit told us “and it would become larger when I coughed or bent down to pick up something heavy.
“Very often, we see people put off an important knee replacement surgery because they’re worried about the recovery period” says Dr. Nitiraj Oberoi. “They think they’ll be in a lot of pain for a long time and getting better will be difficult. But that’s not always the case.”
This is a valid fear.
A knee replacement surgery is a routine and commonly seen operation, especially for people older than 60 years of age. But everyone who suffers from knee-related health concerns does not always require a replacement surgery.

This is a usual exclamation when women discover they’ve gained too much weight during their pregnancy and need to be put on a strict diet.
“The first few days after my baby’s delivery were beautiful. I was just so happy that I finally had my son in my arms” remarked Ruchi Mishra, a 33-year old mother. “He’s my first child and I was really looking forward to becoming a mom. I wasn’t expecting the baby blues at all.”
